The Other Half of My Lens Duo

I've completed another smooth, successful transaction with MPB.com. I have sold them gear alone, I've bought gear alone and I've had combinations of trading in gear and buying gear in the same transaction. The combined transactions have the advantage of eliminating sales tax on the gear you are buying. Like when you trade in a car.

This transaction saw my last EOS R and my RF 14-35mm f/4 lens heading down to Brooklyn via FedEx and a like new EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM lens heading in the reverse direction. Along with some funds heading to my bank account.

It's not where I thought I'd end up when I started selling and buying back in May but I think it will be a good kit for the kind of work I want to do going forward. Here are some of the first samples with the 24mm lens from a quick walk up the Canalway Trail in Halfmoon earlier this afternoon.
