Saratoga Spa State Park

I took a walk around Saratoga Spa State Park this morning after a night with temperatures below freezing. There are a few interpretive signs at the park that explain that the park does not have geysers, which are powered by steaming hot water. The Island Spouter is cold water which is powered by gasses and therefore not a geyser. 

Nevertheless, a lot of things at the park are named geyser including Geyser Trail, Geyser Loop Road and Geyser Brook. Here are some photos from this morning.
