I had another opportunity this morning to test out the new lens, this time along the trails at Ashley Reservoir in Holyoke, Massachusetts. As the subjects today called for stopping the lens down some, all the images were very sharp with almost no undesired artifacts. I shot the vertical composition into the sun with the tree especially to test out the lens and my software with respect to chromatic aberration and the results are very nice.
