I tried out a new combination of camera and lens this morning on a walk over to Peebles Island. The EOS 90D, being a crop sensor body, records a field of view with the 28mm lens equivalent to that of a 45mm lens on a full frame body. I've had 45mm lenses to use with full frame bodies and it works out OK for general photography although you sometimes wish for something a bit wider.
The lens is small and light, with image stabilization, and it fits well with the smaller 90D body. The other similar lens I can use with the 90D is the 50mm f/1.8 STM which has the field of view of 80mm on the crop body.
Here are the images from today showing the 45mm field of view.
