October was an important month with respect to my photography equipment and processing workflow. By the end of October I had completely migrated from Canon EOS DSLRs and EF lenses back to EOS R series mirrorless bodies and RF lenses.

October was also when I purchased DxO PhotoLab 6 after enjoying a thirty day trial of PhotoLab 5. After years of processing bracketed files with HDR software, I went back to processing single files only.

October was a good month with respect to weather and colorful foliage. It had a nice combination of foggy mornings and sun filled afternoons and was quite productive as evidenced by the ten blog entries over the course of the month.

The collection has images from Grafton Lakes State Park, the various parts of Saratoga National Historical Park, the Old Champlain Canalway Trail, Peebles Island, Waterford Harbor and The Hudson River in Kingston, NY. [Update: I expanded the collection to include a September 29 visit to Bog Meadow Brook Nature Trail and a November 3 visit to Saratoga Spa State Park. I also changed the name of the collection to Autumn 2022.
