All Monopod, All the Time

Since I got the P50 monopod mount and quick release plate I ordered on eBay, I've been using the monopod pretty much whenever I'm out shooting. Even with an image stabilized lens. The monopod is fairly sturdy with metal leg clamps and when it's retracted it would make a decent bludgeon. 

I even ordered a second mount and plate (they're only $12) so I can have a plate on both camera bodies and I'll have a spare mount. 

Here are some shots from the past couple of days. A sunset down at the river right after tropical storm Isiais came through on Tuesday and this morning's sunrise at the canal.
