Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve with two Canon EOS RP

The weather forecast for today predicted mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid 60's. I was planning to walk around Vischer Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve and I knew that if I wanted to maintain physical distancing I had to get there early. When I arrived just before 7AM there was a single car in the Whipple bridge parking lot. When I left at 9AM there were 23.

I ended up walking 4.4 miles over that time and carried two EOS RP bodies - one with the 24-70mm lens and the other with a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens. While the 70-300mm lens will be a bit more suited for wildlife than the 70-200mm lens I had been carrying, it falls short of the 480mm equivalent if used with a crop sensor DSLR. The cropped shot of the Great Blue Heron is about as good as it will get.
