Meteorological Fall, that is. September and October are the best months for shooting outdoor locations and events and I'm looking forward to the next couple of months.

These two months are when the battles of Saratoga occurred in 1777 and reenactments are again being scheduled at Saratoga Battlefield and other parts of Saratoga National Historical Park for the first time since COVID. I also have a trip to the Maine coast scheduled. 

This morning I enjoyed a 5.7 mile hike along the old Erie Canal in Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve and west along a canal corporation road. Here is a graphic of the walk followed by some of the resulting images.
