The 18 days between the battles of Saratoga is one of my favorite times of year to walk around the battlefield. During this time the British were fortifying their positions and the Americans were waiting behind their positions to see what would be the next British move.

It's a time of year with crisp, foggy mornings and warm afternoons. Unless it's raining. Today was nice and sunny and I ended up using the 28mm pancake lens as I drove along the tour road with some walks along the way.
