The tour road at the Saratoga Battlefield opened this weekend after the winter closure. I had last driven the road back in mid October. 

Two stops that were closed back in October, the Neilson House and the American River Fortifications were accessible today although renovations are not complete at either. The other notable difference was a section of uprooted trees which had fallen across the road and been cleared. 

It was not a particularly picturesque morning but I do try and drive around the park when the road first opens in April. Here are some shots from the two locations I hadn't visited since last year at this time.
