Four Days After the Second Battle

I've been hoping for a forecast of some serious fog around the battle dates to plan an early morning trip to the battlefield. Fog is frequently mentioned in accounts of the time the armies were in the area. Cold air at night combined with the relatively warm water of the Hudson River can create quite a dense fog.

Not only does the fog add to the atmosphere of photos, I get to use my fog lights on the 20 mile trip up along the river. I added another 35 images to the park gallery. Here are some samples.
