I picked up an EOS RP a couple of weeks ago to have as a backup body for my EOS R while they are still available new. I also had purchased the inexpensive RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens on sale but I hadn't used either the RP or the 50mm lens. 

This morning I walked over to Waterford and Peebles Island to try them out. I have owned copies of both the body and lens previously so it was just a matter of making sure they functioned properly while I was still within the return period for the body.
