Sunrise at Lock E5

While I wait to sell my second EOS RP body and a couple of lenses, I have only the EF 16-35mm f/4L lens to pair with my 6D Mark II body. I have a road map for refilling my bag which includes, initially, two lenses and a second 6D Mark II body.

The two lenses are the EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM and the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM. Both are excellent quality, weather sealed lenses and both, being older lenses, have lens profiles in the HDR software I use. Added to the lens I already have, this will be an excellent landscape kit.

Yesterday, I went over to the locks just around sunrise, missing the earlier color, but getting some nice early morning shots. This morning, I was over at the locks well before sunrise and used a tripod for the slower shutter speeds in the pre-dawn light.

The first four shots are from this morning, the second four from yesterday.
