Saratoga National Historical Park

I've been thinking of a new shooting location that's close enough for regular visits that I can document over the course of the next year. I decided on Saratoga National Historical Park, also known as the Saratoga Battlefield. I'm familiar with the park but haven't visited in many years. It's 15 miles from home and a nice drive along the Hudson River.

In addition to the 10 mile tour road, which has ten points of interest, there are trails which lead to some more isolated historical points. You can learn more about the park at https://www.nps.gov/sara/index.htm.

Today I stayed on the road and stopped at all of the 10 points. It was foggy right up until I left at around 11:30AM.

I created a gallery for this project at https://trulandphotography.com/snhp. The gallery starts with 34 photos from this morning. Here are some examples, all made with the 24-70mm f/4L lens.
