I wanted to take advantage of haze from the West Coast wildfires this morning. It was a nice, diffused warm color light before the sun rose too high. I was up at Oakwood Cemetery not long after the gates opened at 8:00 AM. I was only there for about an hour and by noontime, the haze had lowered to ground level, visibility was bad and it smelled like smoke.
I waked around with both camera bodies and the 16-35mm and 70-300mm lenses. I expect this will be my most used pairing, reserving the 24-70mm lens for when I'm only using one camera body or when I expect to want its .7X closeup feature.
The first three images are with the 16-35mm lens and the other four are with the telephoto zoom. A reminder that all my shots from Oakwood Cemetery are in the gallery at https://trulandphotography.com/oakwood.
