I Missed Some Good Snow

I was thinking that a forecast of light snow for the Southern Adirondacks yesterday might result in some decent photo opportunities this morning. Well, it did snow but the ground was never covered and nothing stuck to the trees.

Back close to home, however, only a dozen miles to the east, there was a surprise near double digit snowfall with totally covered trees. Today would have been a good day to visit Grafton Lakes State Park.

This morning was windy and around 20 degrees as I drove down to the Northampton Beach Campground. I did get some decent images but they're not all that dissimilar to what I've been getting there all Fall.

Another annoyance was that after processing 22 images from 5 bracketed files, a process which takes several hours, I realized I saved them at half size so I have to do them all over again. Here are some of the half size photos which are still larger than they display on the blog but aren't sufficient for prints.
